31 Free & Low Cost Ways to Have Fun This Summer
So, I like to prepare by having an activities jar. It makes life a little more interesting in those boring seasons. You can get a mason jar or any jar with a lid fairly inexpensively and decorate it. Get some pretty stationary and have your family write their ideas on the stationary as they think of them.
This also makes a great ‘date night’ jar for couples who are in a rut. During the year they can add activities that are free and fun to do. Then, when you are looking for something to do, you simply pull out a slip of paper and voila, you have your activity to do. There are so many free and low cost activities that you can do.
