I don’t know about you, but these orange sliced candies just take me back to my childhood. They were one of my favorite candies growing up and something I always grab on my travels as an adult as well. So it seems only fitting to make this absolutely delicious Orange Creamsicle Bark! It’s super easy to make too….
Orange Creamsicle Bark
Ingredients
- White chocolate chips or vanilla flavored melting wafers
- Orange slices (you can find them in the candy section of the store)
- Orange food coloring
- Vanilla extract
Directions
Step 1: Line a flat baking dish with parchment paper (don’t miss this step or it will stick to the bowl!)
Step 2: Cut your candy orange slices in small pieces
Step 3: Melt a bag of white chocolate chips on the microwave in 15 second intervals until melted
Step 4: Pour your melted white chocolate on the parchment paper in your dish and spread with a spatula (spray the spatula before use with cooking spray so it doesn’t stick).
Step 5: With a tooth pick, mix around a little orange food coloring — the swirls will make it prettier for presentation
Step 6: Add a small amount of vanilla at a time, also mix around with a toothpick. If you do too much at a time, your chocolate will start to get chunky.
Step 7: Now add your orange sliced candies
Step 8: Freeze for 30 minutes or until hard
Step 9: Your bark is ready for you to break apart into orange bark chippings to enjoy!
For alternatives, you could do a dark chocolate orange bark recipe or milk chocolate. You could even try making it into fudge dessert too!
You could wrap this in cellophane and a bow and give it as a gift as well.
