Life is so very painful and so very hard. There are so many times that we are doing nothing more than crawling on our bellies trying to make it through the day and yet other days, we feel like a warrior princess who just defeated an entire army, and those day are all mixed in.
Something happens and life engulfs us, we feel like we can’t make it another step. Our pain may be so intense that at times, we cry out to Jesus to end our life. To take us up with Him to Heaven, where there is no pain, no sadness, no tears.
But He doesn’t. He leaves us here and we wonder why. Jesus is called the Great Physician because He heals, but He not only heals physical ailments in the Bible, but also spiritual brokenness too. There’s nothing He can’t fix, you only need to go to Him and ask Him to take your pain and sorrows away and cast your burdens completely on Him.
In an instant, He relieves the pain, the suffering. He’s done it with me and I know He’s done it with others. All the sudden you stop crying. You’re not completely over the situation or through it, but it becomes manageable. Things are okay.
God cares about our pain. He cares about the things that hurt us and He’s always there for us, ready to see us through any trial or temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Today, read through these 30 Bible verses about healing and see how He tenderly cares for His flock and wants to be the One you turn to in your hour of need.
Call on Him today! He will be there. Even if you don’t feel like He is, He’s there, loving on you like no other ever could!
