50 Couples Activities To Do Right Now
It is super important to make sure you are intentional in spending quality time with your spouse. A lot of times, we hear the world say that your kids are number one, as in MORE important than your spouse – but in reality, it should look like this…
- God as the umbrella, over EVERYTHING
- Your relationship with your spouse
- Your kids
- etc.
Guess what? One day your kids will grow up, leave the home and begin their lives. And you and your spouse don’t want to be strangers when that happens. Make sure you are spending quality time together, connecting, growing in godliness, growing in friendship and intimacy, because this glorifies God.
Then, you can make sure you are on the same page and through prayer (prayers for your marriage)(prayers for your children), can parent WELL together – so important!
Especially after having kids, it can be SO hard to find time to “date” your spouse, and that is why I wanted to share with you these 50 couples activity ideas – these are to help start (or continue) getting you to set aside intentional time with your spouse.
I would suggest picking one night or day a week for date night. And the dates don’t have to be going out and spending tons of money – it is good to find someone to watch the kids and get out of the house every once in a while, but the beauty of this list is it gives you other options too that you can do at home, or after the kids go to bed!
Also, dates don’t have to break the bank! Some of our favorite dates have been at home just talking and asking funny/serious questions. 😊
You definitely want to have fun family date nights as well but that intentional one on one time with your spouse is so vital for all those reasons, and helps you be able to connect together and stay on the same page in life.

Our Top 4 Favorite Couples Activities From This List
There are so many couples activities to choose from and I hope you find a few to do together, but I wanted to share with you my husband’s and I’s personal favorites from this list. 😊
1. Play Board/Card Games
We are definitely game people! We love playing games together whether it’s charades on our phone, board games, or card games. Some fun games to play are Uno (there are TONS of different versions), Phase 10, Mancala, Heads Up… those are just some of our favorites.
It definitely creates a cozy atmosphere for you to have a little “fun” competition and laugh until you cry!! 😊
2. Read & Answer Date Night Questions
Something we have done for a while and is probably our favorite type of relaxing date night is to go over date night questions – these can range from serious to funny but always gets us in open and honest conversations!
Here’s a great Conversation Starters Binder that can help.
3. Couples Devotional Book
Reading through God’s word on your own time is so important, but spending time together in His Word is a must as well! You can read chapters together, talk about it, or go through a couple’s devotional.
Here’s one that Sarah recommends, A Couple After God’s Own Heart by Jim & Elizabeth George. Here’s the book on Amazon and you’ll want the workbook as well.
I hope you enjoy these 50 fun couples activities, and pray that you and your spouse can continue to grow more in love with one another! 😊
