Fall is upon us, so keep your skin looking GREAT with this DIY Fall sugar scrub with essential oils.
Sugar scrubs are the perfect way to exfoliate and cleanse your skin naturally because sugar crystals are not harsh or abrasive to your skin…and using these spicy scents will make you feel ready for Fall!
Fall Sugar Scrub with Essential Oils
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup white sugar (you can also use brown sugar or sea salt- sea salt will be a little more abrasive to your skin)
- 1/2 cup Fractionated Coconut Oil (you could also use almond oil, grapeseed oil, or olive oil).
- 4 drops Cassia essential oil
- 4 drops Clove essential oil
- 2-4 drops Ginger essential oil
Directions:
Step 1. Combine the sugar and Fractionated Coconut Oil into a mixing bowl.
Step 2. Add desired essential oils
Step 3. Stir the mixture until it is the consistency of a slushy (you may need to add more sugar or Fractionated Coconut Oil for desired consistency).
If you want to add color to your mixture, do so now (I use natural, skin-safe, food coloring). For separate colors, divide the sugar scrub into bowls depending on how many colors you want to create. If you want three colors, divide into three bowls. Color as desired and carefully pour on top of each layer.
Step 4. Store mixture in an air-tight container.
You’re done! You can use 1-2 times a week on hands, feet, legs, or arms.
