When I was younger, I loved to doodle. I would doodle on the corners of my notebooks and in the margins.
I would doodle at the tops of sheets and on scrap paper.
I would draw on frosty windows.
I would paint and doodle for hours with water colors too.
In junior high and high school, I took art class as my elective. I just LOVED it.
Being creative, for me, started at a young age. It gave me a relaxing outlet and a way to make things that I thought were pretty.
I found, too, as I got older, I could use my creations as gifts to people, and they loved the thought of me spending time on a gift just for them.
When I learned elegant cursive writing in elementary school, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Each grade prior to it, I was waiting until 3rd grade, because THAT was the year…the year we learned the cursive alphabet. Oh how I looked forward to it!
You could do SO much with a gorgeous handwriting style.
With just a few twists of the pen, a few swirls here and there, and voila! A totally different, hand writing design! And once I learned – I used them EVERYWHERE!
Seriously, if you were to see my notebooks from when I was a kid, I had writing and designs and words littered everywhere. I found it to be SO much fun!
Fast forward to today, and I’m still being creative in many different ways. I love making printable designs and sharing them with you for FREE so you can use them for anything.

I HATE (like LOATHE) using free fonts. In fact, I NEVER do…ever. The reason is because everyone else on the planet is using free fonts and I like to be different! It’s better to invest a small cost for a font. But if you’re really stuck on a free font, here’s a pretty modern calligraphy font called Priscilla.
