I am a BIG fan of pasta salad. I remember having always tried it when others made it and I never could quite like the flavors of them. But then when I started making my OWN versions, I liked them quite a lot. So, I guess it was really just about finding the right recipe.
This particular recipe, literally only has FOUR ingredients and it’s something that is SUPER quick to get on the table.
I love to have a variety of recipes, some quick, fast, and easy when you need dinner on the table asap.
Other recipes, more labor intensive for those times you wanna spend time and cook with your family.
This bacon ranch pasta salad is something that you can get on the table in a pinch! And don’t worry…there’s no rules that say your family can’t help. 🙂
Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad Recipe
Ingredients
- 16 oz Pasta, Cooked Al Dente (I used medium egg noodles, but you can use macaroni or whatever pasta type is your favorite)
- 3.8 oz Can of Black Sliced Olives
- 16 oz Bacon
- 16 oz Bottle Ranch Dressing
Directions
Step 1: Cook the pasta to Al Dente. Drain and return to pot you cooked them in.
Step 2: Add 1 bottle (16 oz) of Ranch dressing to the warm pasta and stir to coat. Let cool to room temperature.
Step 3: While your pasta is cooling off, cut and cook your bacon until browned. Drain and remove excess grease with a paper towel.
Step 4: Once bacon and pasta are completely cooled, add the bacon and olives to the pasta.
Step 5: Stir to combine.
Tips: You can easily substitute the bacon with cubes of ham or chicken. And add vegetables such as peas, broccoli, whatever your favorite veggies are!
