Balsamic Honey Mustard Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
- 3 cups lettuce
- 1 Green apple, sliced
- 1 Red apple, sliced
- ½ Avocado, sliced
- ¼ Cup croutons
For the salad dressing:
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tsp honey
- 3 Tbsp mustard (dijon, french, wholegrain etc)
- ½ Tsp salt
- ½ Tsp pepper
- ½ Tsp garlic powder
- ½ Tsp onion powder.
Directions:
Step 1: Start with the balsamic honey mustard dressing. In a bowl mix the olive oil with the balsamic vinegar, honey, and mustard. Add the salt and pepper and the garlic and onion powder. Whisk well and set aside.
Step 2: Fill a bowl with the lettuce (and kale or spinach if you like) and place the green apple slices on top.
Step 3: Add the red apples, croutons, and avocado.
Step 4: Drizzle the dressing on top of the salad.
Tip: You can also add some feta cheese and walnuts.
