This banana pudding recipe reminds me of Banana Cream Pie – but a lot easier to make and less fattening! 🙂
All you need is a few simple ingredients and you have an easy dessert on the table in a jiffy!
Homemade Banana Pudding From Scratch
Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chocolate chip cookies
Directions:
Step 1: In a bowl mash half banana and mix it with the milk.
Step 2: Add the cream cheese, cinnamon, and sugar.
Step 3: Mix everything together and transfer to a saucepan over medium heat.
Step 4: Cook for 5 minutes and remove from the heat.
Step 5: Let it cool down for 10 minutes
Step 6: While cooling down, slice the remaining banana and use the slices and cookies to fill the bottom of a bowl.
Step 7: Pour the pudding into the bowl, top with some crushed cookies and banana slices.
