Sometimes reading about what’s happening in the world can be very depressing. There always seems to be upheaval, resistance, and a constant sense of unease. That sort of thing wears on even the strongest of people over time.
That’s why it’s so important we are CONSTANTLY in the world of God, focusing on the good things, the true things in the Word (Philippians 4:8).
I know where to go for stillness, for calm, for peace. My Bible!!
God is bigger than anything I see, hear, or read. He is the creator of all things and over all things. And while He gives us free will to make our own choices, whether good or bad, when we turn to Him in stillness we will find His peace.
Today, let’s focus our attention, and our hearts on Psalm 46:10!!

If you read all of Psalm 46:1-11, you’ll see that all of the things happening today, wars, uprisings and natural disasters, we can still have peace in the midst of all that (and anything) going on. Why? Because He is our refuge and our peace. We will not be moved because He is in the midst of His people.
And He tells us to keep these words, His words, in our minds and hearts and always before us to keep our focus on the spiritual world, NOT the physical world.
“My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body.” Proverbs 4:20-22.
The world is crying out today for peace, and we know the secret to finding it. 🙂
