My birthday is coming up here in a few days and I started thinking about it…
This year, instead of getting 1 year older, I’m going to get 1 year younger!
See, here’s my logic…
The world has been so giving to me, giving me another number year after year, and I’m such a giving person myself, I can’t just keep TAKING….I have to give back…so this is the year…I’m going to start giving back!
So, instead of getting older, I’ll be getting younger…yeah, I’m just that kinda person…so giving. 😛
With all joking aside, I had this brilliant idea to make homemade Birthday Cake Popcorn…
I said to myself, “Self (that’s generally how I address myself 😉 ) sweet and salty make sense, right?” “Yes,” I answered back (well, I AM an only child here…been talking to myself all my life. lol) “It stands to reason then, that salty popcorn would taste real good with chocolate syrup all over it…and I think I even have some sprinkles to add sweetness and balance out the flavors.”
…and the idea was born.
I have to tell you, it’s REALLY yummy! If you like seasoning with salty sweet combinations and are looking for something different, this will become your new favorite way to enjoy your popcorn!
