My kids are OB-sessed with pancakes…I kid you not!
They would have them for every meal if I let them. For a fun treat, we like to put different ingredients in our pancakes.
Today, we’re trying blueberries and they sure came out super tasty!
These homemade blueberry pancakes are sure to please even the most discerning palate!
How to Make Blueberry Pancakes – Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Plain Flour
- 3 TBSP Sugar
- 2 TSP Baking Powder
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 Egg
- 2 TSP Vegetable Oil
- 1 TSP Vanilla
- 1/2 cup Fresh Blueberries or Frozen
Directions:
Step 1: Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, milk, egg, vanilla, and oil stirring well.
Step 2: Add in the 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries.
Step 3: Heat a griddle at about 300-350 degrees. Once heated, pour about 1/4 cup of the pancake batter onto the griddle. Wait a few minutes for the bottom to brown. I like to add a few extra blueberries to the top while the bottom is browning. When the top is bubbly, gently flip and allow the other side to brown.
Step 4: Remove from heat once cooked through and serve immediately. You can add syrup or any other toppings you like! 🙂
