- ¾ Cup flour
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Tsp vanilla
- ¾ Cup sugar
- ½ Tsp salt
For the marshmallow:
- 2 Cups marshmallows

Directions:
Make the brownie:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a cake pan.
Step 2: In a bowl mix the butter, melted chocolate and cocoa powder. Add the vanilla, salt and eggs and slowly incorporate the sugar.
Step 3: Add the flour in 3 additions mixing until everything is well incorporated.
Step 4: Pour the batter into the cake pan and take to the oven bake for 15 minutes or until done.
Step 5: Let it cool and break into big crumbs
Note: For this recipe, I started with leftover brownie. It’s easier to make the trifle with leftover cake than to make the cake from scratch. If you are going with the from scratch route make sure to leave plenty of time for the brownie to cool down.
Make the marshmallow fluff:
Step 6: Place all the marshmallows into a small bowl. Take to the microwave and melt in 20-second intervals. Mix until shiny and melted.
Make the chocolate sauce:
Step 7: In a bowl add all the ingredients. Take to the microwave and melt in 20-second intervals. Mix and repeat until everything is melted and incorporated.
Assembly:
Step 8: Layer a small mini bowl or short glass with big brownie crumbs. Add chocolate sauce and a layer or marshmallow fluff. Repeat the process until the glass is full.
Step 9: Top with chocolate shavings.
Serve and enjoy.
Tips:
- This is also delicious when cool. So I also placed it into the refrigerator for 20 minutes before serving.
- You can substitute the chocolate sauce for chocolate pudding, but the chocolate sauce was more decadent.
- If you want to make it a brownie S’mores trifle dessert, add a layer of graham cracker crumbs.
- You could add some of your favorite berries!
