Everyone loves chocolate, am I right? Here’s a non-traditional spin on chocolate pie paired with 3 types of berries. This Chocolate Berry Pie is sure to make ANYONE’S day!
Open Faced Chocolate Berry Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups flour
- 2 Tbsps sugar
- ½ Cup cold butter
- ¼ Cup cold water
For the filling:
- 1 Cup melted chocolate
- ½ Cup raspberries
- ½ Cup blackberries
- ½ Cup blueberries
For topping:
- Sugar glaze
- Whipped cream
- Grated chocolate
Directions:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2: Grease and flour a pie tin
Step 3: In a food processor add all the crust ingredients and pulse until thick.
Step 4: Transfer to the pie tin and press it.
Step 5: Take to the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
Step 6: Remove from the oven and pour the melted chocolate over the crust.
Step 7: Add the berries and top with some sugar glaze.
Step 8: Take to the oven and bake for 25 minutes.
Step 9: Remove from the oven and set aside to cool down before garnishing.
Step 10: Top with the whipped cream, and grated chocolate. Then you have a delicious triple berry chocolate pie/tart.
Tip: For another presentation, mash the berries and combine them with the chocolate.
