So many great things that happen to us, start out as impossible things….I was homeless, and now look where I am. I started a pitiful-looking little blog with no spell check, proper grammar, or even pictures, and look where I am now.
When you think of that stuff in terms of the Bible, it’s the same thing. There are a myriad of situations that SEEM impossible and yet, God shows HIS STRENGTH and His children’s faith through them…
- Abraham was to kill Isaac and God stopped him…
- Noah built an ark and mocked and made fun of…
- David and Goliath…
- Mary, a virgin, miraculously giving birth to the Savior…
- Elizabeth getting pregnant with John…her husband’s mouth shut…
- Marching around the walls of Jericho and the walls blasting down…
- Abraham’s wife, Sarah getting pregnant in her old age…
- God giving the Israelites the promised land…
- Moses couldn’t speak but led a great nation
- Paul was killing Christians, then came to serve the Lord
There’s sooo many more. Listen, when something SEEMS impossible to you, you’re not looking at it correctly. You’re looking at it through HUMAN eyes, not SPIRITUAL eyes. We must align how we view the world- how God sees things. When we do that, we realize that nothing is truly impossible, not for the God Who created all things! 💖
I know where I’m going….one day, and I have no idea how long or when, but I know one day, God is going to make me a person the whole world knows. It seems so impossible. Little ol’ me. I am not tactful, I have no charm, I’m super shy, I stick my foot in my mouth constantly, constantly using my delete button so as not to get in trouble with SOMEone…anyone….but He will use me…MIGHTILY.

Today, I’d encourage you to step out in faith and JUST BELIEVE that God is not bound by OUR terms…He can do whatever He wants to do, and we can’t stop Him (Job 42:2).
Be encouraged today…God is in the business of performing the impossible!!!
