Easy Hazelnut Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/3 Cup butter
- 1 Egg
- 1 Cup flour
- 3/4 cup toasted and finely chopped or ground hazelnuts
- 1/2 Cup sugar
- 1 Tsp vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp nutmeg
- 1 Tsp cinnamon
- 1 Tsp key lime juice
Directions:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Step 2: In a bowl beat in the eggs, butter, and sugar.
Step 3: Incorporate the flour and nutmeg.
Step 4: Add the cinnamon, key lime juice, and vanilla extract.
Step 5: Stir tough dough is thick, then mix in hazelnuts
Step 6: Use the hands to shape like balls.
Step 7: Place in the baking dish, 2 inches apart.
Step 8: Bake for about 10 minutes. Bon appétit!
Tips:
- If you love chocolate, why not try adding in some chocolate chips.
- Try adding in some fruit like berries for a little something extra.
- Use substitutes for the egg and butter to make them vegan!
