I love iced tea! Even when it is winter time and freezing cold out you can still find me drinking iced tea! And one of the best recipes I have found is this Lemon Iced Green Tea. It’s perfect for a hot day or a cold one! You won’t need to go to Starbucks!
Lemon Iced Green Tea Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 Green Tea bag
- 1/2 Lemon
- 1 1/2 Cups water
- 1 Tbsp sugar
Directions:
Step 1: Pour the water in a pot or kettle and bring to a simmer.
Step 2: Transfer to a glass and add the green tea bag.
Step 3: Let it steep for exactly 3 minutes.
Step 4: Remove and discard the tea bag without squeezing it.
Step 5: Transfer the tea to a blender and add the sugar.
Step 6: Pulse for 10 seconds.
Step 7: Add the lemon juice from the half lemon and if desired add some minced ginger or mint leaves.
Step 8: Pulse for 10 additional seconds.
Step 9: Serve into a glass filled with ice. Enjoy.
Tip: Try adding some berries or other fruits too. You could also use honey instead of sugar!
