We all have those days when we feel like we’re not good enough. We’re struggling to keep our head above water, and every step feels like an uphill battle.
Sometimes on those days, it’s hard to pray because we don’t feel strong enough to speak to God from a place of faith. But even in our weakest moments, we can still lift up prayers of thanksgiving and petition.
Whether you feel weak in your spirit, your mind, your heart, or your physical strength, here are 30 days of prayers for the mom feeling weak that you can use to encourage your own journey towards strength.
Day 1 – Pray for strength to get through the day
Dear God, I come to you today asking simply for strength. I am feeling overwhelmed and exhausted, and I need Your help just to make it through the day. Please give me the strength I need to complete all my tasks, and the patience to deal with difficult people. I know that sometimes difficult people are put in my life in order to grow me more like You, Lord, but sometimes that stretching of myself is super painful and hard. Help me to remember that You are always by my side, and that Your love will see me through anything. You understand pain and suffering and with You, and You alone, I can get through anything that comes my way.
Day 2 – Pray for patience with your children
Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you today asking for patience. It seems like every day my children find new ways to test my limits and try my patience. Just when I think I’ve reached my breaking point, they do something that melts my heart and reminds me why I’m doing this in the first place. I know that being a mom isn’t always easy, but it’s the most rewarding job I could ever have. Please give me the strength and wisdom to handle each situation with grace and patience. Help me to be the best mom I can be for the children that you have entrusted me to raise while on earth.
Day 3 – Pray for guidance as a parent
Lord, I pray for guidance as a parent. I know that being a mom is hard, and I sometimes feel like I’m failing. I need Your help to be the best mom I can be. I pray for patience when my kids are driving me crazy. I pray for wisdom to know when to discipline and when to let them be. I pray for strength to keep going when I’m exhausted. And I pray for Your love to fill my heart, so that I can show my kids just how much You love them, through me. Thank You for being with me through this journey of motherhood and for giving me these precious little souls to watch over, guide, and direct for Your glory.
Day 4 – Pray for wisdom in making decisions
God, I come to you today asking for wisdom in making decisions as a mom. I know that being a parent is not always easy and that there are times when I have to make tough choices. Thank you that you hear my prayer, and please give me your peace in the midst of such trying situations.
Day 6 – Pray for forgiveness from your mistakes
Dear God, I come to you today seeking forgiveness for my mistakes. I know that I am not perfect and that I will make mistakes, but I wish to give it all to you. I ask for your forgiveness for all my sins, my previous sins before, and the sins in the future, both known and unknown. I also pray for the strength to learn from my mistakes and to become a better person as a result. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for your love, grace, and guidance.
Day 7 – Pray for strength to keep going
Heavenly Father, I come to You today asking for strength to keep pressing forward. I am feeling so exhausted and overwhelmed right now. I know that being a mom is one of the hardest jobs in the world, and some days it feels like I can’t do it anymore. I want to throw my hands up in the air and give up, but I know that with Your help, I can get through anything. So please give me the strength to keep going when it seems so impossible to take even another step. Help me to be patient with my kids. Help me to find the energy to clean up the house and cook dinner after a long day working for my family. And most importantly, help me to always remember how much I love my children and how blessed I am to be their mom. Thank You for everything that You do for me and my family.
Day 8 – Pray for courage when you’re afraid
Dear Lord, I come to You today asking for courage. I’m afraid of what the future holds, and I don’t know how to face it. It seems scary and I don’t know what step to take next, but I know that with You by my side, I can overcome anything. Please give me the strength to face my fears and the wisdom to know what to do. I pray for strength to keep fighting the good fight even when it feels like I am losing. I know that faith is essential, and without it, I will not be able to please You. Help me to trust You more, and grow my faith so that my doubts will become a thing of the past. But I also know that sorrow is a part of life also, and I ask for your help in dealing with the tough times. Give me the wisdom to know what to say and do, and please give me the courage to face whatever comes our way. Most of all, Father, I pray for joy in the midst of sorrow as I know this pleases You. Hope that my children will turn out okay despite my failures and mistakes. Hope that I will be able to make it through another day. That is the hope I need right now, so I pray for it earnestly.
Day 21 – Pray for love when you feel alone

Day 22 – Pray for compassion when you’re judging yourself
Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You today asking for Your help. I am struggling to show myself compassion. I am my own worst critic and I find myself constantly judging myself. I know that I am not perfect and that I will make mistakes, but I need to learn to cut myself some slack. I need to learn to be more forgiving of myself. Help me to see myself through your eyes. Help me to see Your good that is in me, even when I make a mistake. Help me to have compassion for myself, just as I have compassion for others.
Day 23 – Pray for faith when you’re afraid to stand for your beliefs
Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you today with a heavy heart. I feel like I am afraid to stand up for my beliefs and I don’t know where to turn. I know that you are the only One who can give me the strength and faith that I need to get through this tough time. Dear God, please give me the courage to stand up for what I believe in, even when it is difficult and not the popular thing to do or say. Give me the strength to be a good role model for my children, my family, and the world, even when I am feeling doubtful. And finally, dear God, please help me to remember that you are always with me, no matter what.
Day 24 – Pray for joy in the mundane moments
Dear Heavenly Father, today I pray for joy in the mundane moments. I pray for joy as I do the laundry, drive carpool, and make dinner. I pray for joy when I am cleaning up toys and wiping away fingerprints from walls and mirrors. Help me to find joy in the everyday, ordinary tasks of motherhood. Guide me to be patient when tempers flare and to show kindness even when I am feeling exhausted. Keep my heart open to the laughter and joy of my children. Fill me with your peace so that I may radiate Your peace in the midst of chaos. Let me be a vessel of your light, shining Your love on all those around me.

I know that You are the ultimate Healer and I am asking for Your touch in their lives. I pray for their physical healing, but even more so, for their emotional and spiritual healing. Help them to feel Your love and Your presence in the midst of their trials, whenever those might come and whatever they may be. Give me wisdom and strength to be the mom they need me to be, even when my own heart is breaking.

Day 29 – Pray for peace in your soul
Dear Heavenly Father, as a mom, I know that there are times when I feel like I am losing my mind. I am so tired and the days seem to blend together. I can’t find anything that I need and my patience is running thin. But, in those moments, I know that I need to pray for peace in my soul. Lord, when I am at peace, everything else in my life falls into place. I am able to think clearly and make better decisions. My children sense my peace and they are also calmer. So, today, I pray for peace in my soul, the peace that surpasses understanding. Thank you for always being there for me and giving me Your precious peace.

I know that You are in control and that Your plan is perfect. Please give me the strength to trust You and your plan. I know that You have a purpose and plan for each of my children. Help me to raise them to be strong, independent, and loving people who make a difference in this world.
You are not alone in your struggles as a mother. We all have times when we feel weak and inadequate. But take heart, because God is with you every step of the way. He hears your prayers, even when they seem small and feeble. And He will give you strength to carry on. So don’t give up, dear momma. Keep praying for strength, grace, and wisdom- and know that you are loved by a gracious and compassionate God.
