In our house, the kids don’t like the flavorless oatmeal packets that come in the multi-flavor oatmeal box, so we set them aside and make this Strawberry Breakfast Milkshake!
It packs fruit and fiber in one delicious shake you can take with you for breakfast on the go!
Strawberry Breakfast Milkshake Recipe With No Banana
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups milk
- 1 Cup oatmeal
- 1 Cup strawberries, cut in half
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 Tsp vanilla extract
- 1 Tsp ground cinnamon
Directions:
Step 1: In a blender add the oatmeal, strawberries, and milk. Blend until smooth.
Step 2: Add the maple syrup, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Blend for 5 seconds.
Step 3: Pour the milkshake into the mason jar cups.
Step 4: Decorate with strawberry slices.
Tip: For a crunchy texture, add ice while blending the mixture. To make it vegan, just use dairy free milk alternative! And if you love peanut butter, why not add that into the mix too. 🙂
